CINCINNATI, Oh. – Boys Hope Girls Hope of Cincinnati is pleased to announce the appointment of Karl Thomsen as the organization’s Executive Director.
“I am honored to step into the role of Executive Director for Boys Hope Girls Hope of Cincinnati. This organization holds a special place in my heart, and I have seen firsthand the transformative impact it has on scholars and their families. I look forward to working alongside our incredible team, partners, and supporters to create even greater opportunities for young people to realize their potential and achieve their dreams. Together, we will continue to ignite hope and empower futures in our community,” said Karl.
Karl brings a unique combination of professional and personal dedication to the mission. He has served on the Boys Hope Girls Hope Network Headquarters Board for six years, where he worked to support and expand the organization’s impact. Karl co-founded a software development company, Infuse.us in San Francisco, co-founded a payment processing company, Run Payments, and most recently served as Senior Vice President of People and Coaching at Invisible Technologies. His background as an educator at both the secondary and collegiate levels further underscores his lifelong commitment to developing people and fostering growth.

Boys Hope Girls Hope of Cincinnati serves academically motivated youth from under-resourced communities to achieve their full potential. Through a combination of Residential and Academy programs, the organization provides comprehensive support, including access to quality education, mentorship, life skills development, and emotional support. The Academy pathway provides year-round, out-of-school programming, while Residential adds a primary home with other scholars and round-the-clock care.
Boys Hope Girls Hope of Cincinnati currently supports 68 scholars and 9 collegians.
