The Rotary Club of Cincinnati provided a needed break from the regular routine by cooking dinner at each of the BHGH houses. Over 30 Rotarians and their spouses helped cook the meals, serve ice cream sundaes, and supply an evening of fun with new games, bookstore gift certificates and new portfolios for all.
Rotarians ate with the scholars and enjoyed learning about their favorite activities and goals. The Pie Face game was particularly fun and whip cream in the nose or eye became the order of the day! The wonderful camaraderie between the scholars was evident. Interaction with Rotarians made these nights very memorable for all involved.
Following these events, The Rotary Club of Cincinnati decided to make one more lasting contribution to each house. While at each house they measured the dining room table and had custom tablecloths made with the Rotary International logo embroidered in the center. Special guests will be asked to sign the tablecloths and those signatures will be captured in embroidery to enjoy for years to come.
